Piemonte @ Tivoli: Ca' del Baio Winemaker Dinner

Thursday, October 24

6:00 - 9:00pm

Join us for an evening celebrating the beautiful wines of Ca’ del Baio and the Grassa family with Federica Grassa at Tivoli on Thursday, 10/24!

The Grassa family has been making wine in the Langhe & Piedmont region of Italy for four generations, and today their estate is composed of 31 hectares of vineyards in Barbaresco, Treiso, and Trezzo Tinella. From white to red, some regionally-typical varieties and some more international, all of Ca’ del Baio’s wines are estate-grown and all come from a single grape variety.

A multi-course meal from the hearts and minds at Tivoli will be paired with these special wines, celebrating the winemaking process and philosophy, the importance of place and family, and the joy of sharing food and drink together.

MENU

bagna cauda with sesame focaccia & crudite

vitello tonnato with capers & herb salad

farro & vegetable salad with hazelnut crumble

brasato al barolo with polenta & gremolata

dessert from Saint Bread!

CHINESE ENOUGH: Saint Bread x Tivoli x Kristina Cho

This event is sold out!

5:00pm: doors open, grab a drink, peruse the space, get a book from the team at Book Larder and get it signed by Kristina!

6:00pm: sit down for a family-style dinner.

7:30pm: dessert is served!

Join us at Tivoli for an unforgettable evening to celebrate Kristina Cho’s new cookbook, Chinese Enough! This special dinner takes inspiration from Cho’s Chinese-American recipes; cuisine infused with Midwestern nostalgia, hospitality, and the best seasonal ingredients from the Pacific Northwest.

The menu will marry beloved Chinese flavors and dishes with Tivoli’s equally dear philosophy of food: draw from tradition, but don’t let it hinder you, make it delicious, and take care of one another. Dessert is being handled by the incredible pastry team at Saint Bread, who hosted Kristina a couple years ago for her last cookbook, Mooncakes and Milk Bread! We are elated to collaborate with Kristina again.

Our friends from Book Larder will be on-site at the dinner to sell brand new copies of Chinese Enough. Grab your tickets now for this night of collaboration and flavor!
